Local Landlord Pleads Guilty

Sarkis Kavlakian, 54 of Burlington plead guilty in Woburn District Court to stealing the identity of tenants and using their checking and credit card accounts to pay debts and purchase close to $10,000 in goods. He was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in the House of Corrections (suspended sentence) with 59 days to serve and three years of probation. Kavlakian, the owner of several rental units at 40 Church Street, Winchester was arrested in 2010 on these charges.
B&E Suspect Charged

Stephen Sean Sullivan of Arlington was identified and charged with B&E for an April Break into a home on Bacon Street.
Local Photographer Supports WPD K-9
Winchester resident and photographer, Amber Bruski has donated her time to support the Winchester Police K-9 Support Fund. Amber will be available for photo sessions on May 26th and June 30th with the proceeds being donated to the K-9 Support fund.
